Maria Raffaella Trabalza – May 2001

Endless gratitude to Giovanna Bruschi who – following my request a week ago – was able to retrieve and design the graphics for the history of Maria Alinda Bonacci Brunamonti, with such skill and prompt execution, by reproducing a topographical map of Perugia, truly a marvelous picture rendered with the most suitable colors red and blue. The color red, connoting spirituality and the color blue expressing an upward mobility toward asceticism, these being the color symbolism of the Church, according to the painter and philosopher Kandinsky.
